I really enjoyed reading In the Shadow of Death, and can’t wait to see what is in store for us in the next book. In the Shadow of Death grabbed my attention from the first page and never let go. It was so well written that when I was reading it, I could see it playing in my head as if it was a movie. I could see Terr as he was flying his ship as he was being attacked, and I could hear the ship’s computer as it was relaying information to him. I could see him on the planet Anar’on and I could just imagine how the land may have looked like a dessert and barren of plant life with no water in site.

In the Shadow of Death is just the kind of book I have wanted to read for a long time, as it reminds me of TV show like Killjoys, Star Trek, and Star Wars. If you like shows and movies like this, then I believe you will enjoy In the Shadow of Death.

This book is available on Amazon.

About Nancy Allen
The Avid Reader

I always hate this part where you have to tell someone about yourself. I never know what to say. I will do my best to tell you about me. Well as the title of my blog says I am an avid reader. I have been reading books since I was in the fifth grade. My first books were Harlequin romance novels then in my teen years I started reading historical romance. Sometime after that I discovered Stephen King. I have almost all of his books plus most of his movies on VHS. He is my favorite writer. This last year I discovered Vampire novels and am hooked on those now too. I also like to read paranormal romance novels.

I like to research stuff out on the internet. If there is something that I want to do and I don’t know how to do it I will go on the internet and find a tutorial that will show me how to do it. My husband calls me his lil’ engineer, lol. If he wants to know something he gets me to search things for him too. I like to think of myself as an internet detective.

I have a wonderful husband. It was his Ideal that I make my own website. But I didn’t know what kind of website I wanted so I never made one. But then I thought I love to read so maybe I could start my own blog doing reviews of books that I have read. I am glad that he suggested that I make my own website because I think I am going to love this. I just hope I don’t fall on my face trying to write a blog.
