The Kindle Unlimited KENP rate for June 2019 stayed at the same level of $0.0046 for the third consecutive month while the KDP Select Global fund for June 2019 went up by $300,000 to $24.9 million from $24.6 million in May.
In the UK market, the KENP rate for June 2019 rose slightly to £0.0034 from £0.0033 in May and April.
The June 2019 KDP fund of $24.9 million was just over 10% up on the $22.5 million paid out in June 2018.
The total paid out to authors by Kindle Unlimited since it launched is now $985.8 million and will smash through the $1 billion mark in July.
The total paid out by KU for the first six months of 2019 is $145.8 million, which represents an increase of nearly 14% on the $128.2 million paid in the first half of 2018.
For May 2019, using the calculation of dividing the total KDP Select fund ($24.9 million) by the US KENP rate ($0.0046) to get an idea of the total number of KENPs read during the month results in 5.4 billion KENPs, up from 5.3 billion KENPs in May and 5.2 billion KENPs in April.
