This is your official (late) notice that the THIRD Pikes Peak Writers Anthology, Journeys Into Possibility, is now available for your reading pleasure! (link below.)
Last year, I had the honor of being a “slush pile” reader during the submission period for this book. That means I volunteered to be a first-blush reader for over twenty stories. I simply read them through and let the editors know if the submissions met the requested guidelines or not, in order to save the editor’s time. Can you believe this anthology received over 200 submitted stories and poems?
Speaking of poems . . . I submitted three new poems to this anthology and one was accepted! “The Comet’s Dance” follows a comet on her journey through space to see her lover again. It’s short and sexy. (In case you’re wondering about some kind of favoritism, all files were shown as anonymous to the readers until they were accepted by the editors.)
