First and foremost, my apologies for lack of a blog over the last few months. I’ve been deep in my writing bunker finishing up the third in the Wolfgang series, Blood Of The Pack.
This is the first in my exploration of the British and Irish wolfpacks. In Blood Of The Pack we meet the cousins of the Wolfgangs, the Wulver pack.
It was great writing about a wolfpack in my own homeland. We have such a wealth of history, myth, and mystical creatures in Britain and Ireland, and there is so much to draw on, that it made it so much fun to build a new wolf world in the highlands of Scotland, and write Kenrick Wulver and Zaria Lupa’s love story.
The Wulvers are great friends to the Wolfgangs, but they very much have their own identity, history, and connection to the land. I’ll blog more about the Wulver’s in the run up to their release on August 1st, 2019, but for now you can check out the blurb and book here – Blood Of The Pack
As always with me there’s one song on my writing playlist that epitomises the book I’m writing, and I think that’s even more the case with the Wulver’s story. The song at the bottom of the page is what I played over and over while writing Blood Of The Pack, and I think it gives you an excellent sense of the atmosphere of the story and the Wulvers.
So, I have to say it was fun and goodbye to Kenrick and Zaria, I now move onto writing the sequel to Unexpected, Someone To Love. It will be fantastic to drop in on Dale, Becca, and the gang again.
