About the author

My thoughts
This book had me caught up in the story – big time! It was written in such an engaging way, I felt close to the characters and easily empathised with what they were going through. I felt the sadness of Debs and Imogen, not knowing what had happened to Freya and I couldn’t help but feel for Emily too. I almost wanted to close my eyes as danger crept up on them.
‘Girl, Lost,’ is so well written and captures the youth of the main characters with such authenticity. They were well rounded and deep. The mystery of where Freya went kept me totally glued, sneaking moments I didn’t have spare to carry on reading.
I’d like to mention the setting too. I really got a feel for Plymouth, the sea, the sand and Plymouth Hoe. The location was anchored brilliantly.
I thoroughly recommend this book to anyone who loves a deep psychological thriller, one in which you’ll have no choice but to emotionally invest. The relationship between Emily and Ella was something else, giving a real sad pang as I anticipated all what might come their way.
