Thanks for your comments, Gillian. The Keplerian planet this novella features is fictitious but even so is not a terraformed planet. Yes, butterflies are amazing and I use Robert Graves’ poem, Flying Crooked in the tale because a butterfly landed on my laptop in Greece when I started chapter one! In spite of their generally crooked flight, last September when I was writing the sequel, a butterfly flew in a dead straight line for at least 20 metres. I didn’t think they could do that!
