Clementine Rose and the Bake Off Dilemma – two special events in Sydney to celebrate the launch

I am so excited to be bringing another Clementine Rose book out in just a couple of weeks’ time. And to celebrate we are hosting two special events. If you are a keen baker then get cooking (or decorating) and if you’re not, then just come along and eat the scrumptious treats on offer. Hope to see you soon.

The first event is at The Children’s Bookshop at Beecroft on Thursday 29 November at 4.15pm.

Calling all Bakers (and lovers of cake!). Bake a cupcake (or a dozen). Bring it along and there will be prizes for the best-decorated cupcakes. All welcome with a gold coin donation to one of Jacqueline’s favourite charities, Room to Read! So get those recipes out and start baking.

Ready, set . . . bake!

Please join Jacqueline Harvey on Saturday, December 1st for some delicious fun! Jacqueline will do a reading from Clementine Rose and we’ll be running a baking competition and Jacqueline is the judge… If your specialty is a cake, biscuits, or lamingtons… Bring them along, you’ve got to be in it to win it! (Please bring a list of ingredients with your entry. If your entry contains nuts or eggs, please make a note of this in red at the top.)

Jacqueline will be happy to sign copies after the baking competition. Please RSVP to eventscoordinator@dymocks.com.au if you’re planning to come along. You can still come even if you’re not entering the competition!

Clementine Rose is bursting with plans for the school holidays! But with the announcement that a new cooking show will be filmed in the village, everything changes. While Clementine is disappointed that her activities have beencancelled, she soon has an idea and takes to the kitchen in a baking frenzy. If only her mother wasn’t feeling so sick and could help out when things turn sticky.
