

How did you come up with the title for your book?
- Reason I did a Title behind the setting of a country club according to Jeff
- Jeff’s journey is not just about exposing the scandals but also about understanding the deeper issues within the country club and society at large. His actions ultimately lead to significant changes within the club, highlighting the impact one determined individual can have
How do you come up with character names for your stories?
- I used Friends, Family, People I met through the many years of work experience.
How do you develop your plot and characters?
- After many years listening to stories and gossip in country club I felt let’s put these ideas on paper. I delve deeply into the personalities and backgrounds of my characters, providing a thorough understanding of their motivations and struggles.
If you’re planning a sequel, can you share a tiny bit about your plans for it?
- I plan to start with Jeff the waiter and Mr. Jacks as the General Manager of a new country club that he took over and has taken several department heads and staff with him.

- Robert Downey Jr as Mr. Jacks

What characters in your book are most like or to people you know?
- Jeff’s actions and upbringing not only shapes his character but also adds depth to his journey, making his story relatable and inspiring. His background provides a strong foundation for his actions and decisions, highlighting the importance of personal values, family values, and resilience in overcoming challenges
What inspired the idea for your book?
- I found that gossip and lies can create lots of funny stories and trouble. Gossip about corruption, lifestyles, sex, scandals, racism, drugs, lies, and politics found on all levels and classes. So, I decided to put those stories on paper.
What part of the book was the most fun to write?
- Uncovering Secrets – Jeff uncovers scandals, corruption, and illicit activities that are hidden beneath the surface of the club’s polished facade. – He learns about many cover-ups involving a prominent member’s involvement in a drug scandal.
Where do you get your information or ideas for your books?
- After working for many years in the country club industry and a few other industries. I worked 65 plus hours a week and was always on the front lines and back of the house. My Wife and children didn’t see me much as I spent long days and nights at work. My wife always says you run the country club, and I run the house!
- I’ve since retired and decided to write about some of the gossip I ‘ve seen and heard. This is where I begin my adventure into the next part of my life. It was an area I disliked a lot about people.
Which of the characters do you relate to the most and why?
- Jeff the waiter. Jeff grapples with his own moral compass as he navigates the complex web of relationships and deceit at the country club. – He faces backlash from both the members and his fellow staff for his curiosity and revelations. – The repercussions of scandal force Jeff to make difficult choices about his loyalty and values.
